Dalai Lama will visit Frankfurt in September 2017

H. H. the Dalai Lama in Frankfurt
H. H. the XIV. Dalai Lama, religious head of the Tibetan people and Nobel Prize laureate, is coming to Frankfurt am Main from 12 until 14 September 2017 at the invitation of the Tibet House Cultural Foundation, a non-profit public service institution.
On the morning of Wednesday 13 September he will meet with around 1800 school children and students, in the afternoon he will give a public lecture on a theme close to his heart: global ethics.
On Thursday 14 September, a symposium with His Holiness will take place on dialogue between western science and Buddhist perspectives.
On the same evening the great benefit concert for Tibetan Culture “Sound of Compassion” will express our thanks to him and for his work.
Tibet House Germany is a cultural institute dedicated to the principles of tolerance and openness. Everyone with an interest in Tibet, Buddhists or non-Buddhists, will find a place here where they can come to know and experience Buddhist philosophy and practice, healing arts, socially relevant issues, science and research, as well as Tibet’s ancient and modern culture.
The Tibet House Cultural Foundation was founded in 2016 with a special focus on supporting and advancing the cultural and social projects of Tibet House.
